Why could my taxes differ from the seller's?
The seller's bill may reflect exemptions and assessment limits. A qualifying purchase can change the assessment used for future taxes. Ask the county property appraiser about your circumstances.

The five-county estimator uses the source information documented in its validated build. Each connected estimate must identify its applicable year, source dates, rate status and limitations.
Some Broward and Palm Beach districts remain unavailable. An unsupported property will not receive a guessed estimate.
Calculator privacy notice
Effective October 8, 2026.
The calculator uses an essential session cookie to keep your property selection separate from other visitors. The current session lasts up to 15 minutes from creation and may end sooner if a resource limit is reached. Reloading starts a replacement session. The server uses your IP address temporarily for request limits.
The application does not save your search inputs or estimate results to a database. Application and proxy access logging are disabled . Host security records and hosting-provider technical records may still be maintained. Their complete retention and deletion periods have not been verified; we do not promise that all technical records disappear when a session ends.
HTTPS protects information in transit. The service is hosted on a GoDaddy VPS. Recovery backups are encrypted before copying to a private Backblaze bucket. Reviewed recovery backups contain application software, county data and operational configuration; they exclude application sessions and logs. Backup versions are currently retained without automatic deletion. These statements do not establish encryption of the hosting provider’s disks or snapshots.
Calculator feedback forms, newsletter signup and analytics are disabled . Calculator use does not subscribe you to the separate Parcelume newsletter. The educational website’s privacy notice applies to that website and its newsletter.
